Narumi Fujishima is an ordinary high school boy who is isolated from his classmates. When he reluctantly joins the gardening club and meets the reclusive, genius detective named Alice and her band of detectives known as the NEETs, Alice hires Narumi as an assistant and puts him to work solving the strange mysteries of Angel Fix, an illegal drug that makes people go crazy. Little does he know it could put him and Ayaka in serious trouble.

In order to follow her dreams and be like her mom, Chika sought out her mom’s high school to join the Folk Music Club. However, when she entered the school, the club that her mother made famous no longer existed. Depressed and at a loss for what to do, Chika eventually meets Tenko who wishes to create a band and believes Chika to be the answer. Chika is excited to be able to play in a rock band but… why are the other members all holding string instruments?

Miko, a young girl from the north, finally manages to visit the city for the first time. She came in hopes of finding her older sister, but gets lost instead. She finds a cat scaling the handrail of a bridge, but it accidentally falls off. Miko tries to save it, but instead she falls off herself. When she wakes up, she realizes that she’s actually already dead, but the cat had saved her with one of its nine cat lives. Unfortunately, a cat’s life only lasts for a year, and Miko needs to figure out a way to get her original life back, as well as a way to somehow find her sister.
