Universal Century 0079.03.18 – The Principality of Zeon carries out their third drop operation. The 4th Terrestrial Mobile division make their way down to Earth. Chief Petty Officer Cuaran arrives on Earth as a part of the 908th Mobile Reconnaissance Company 2nd Team’s Commander. He would later be the man who attempted to destroy the Federation’s “white mobile suit”, the dreaded “Gundam.”

Iris Orlando is a scientist from Anaheim Electronics who is a mobile suit developer attached to the F91 project. Protagonist Tokio Randall is a Gundam-piloting hero. The events unravel to reveal a conspiracy between Anaheim and the Earth Federation, along the way the Crossbone Vanguard is pulled into the events and ends up battling against the test pilots from Anaheim.

CDA tells the story of Colonel Char Aznable directly after the One Year War. He heads toward Axis after the battle of A Baoa Qu with the remaining Zeon forces, where he meets a 14-year old Haman Karn, who begins to fall in love with Char. Char must also deal with Colonel Enzo, who plans to restart the war with the EFSF.

The story follows the Titans Test Team, Black Otter Team, on their mission to test new mobile suits for the Titans. It begins with Eliard Hunter, an Earth Federation mobile suit pilot being assigned to the Titans and transferring to the Aswan, an Alexandria class carrier. There he meets Carl Matsubara, another new Titans recruit, Audrey April a skilled pilot and chief of test operations and data gathering, and Wes Murphy, a veteran of the One Year War and the Delaz Conflict. The Black Otter team doesn’t just carry out test runs, it also participates in real combat missions against Zeon Remnants and later, against AEUG.

Johnny Ridden survived through the fierce battle of A Baoa Qu although his MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type was badly damaged by the FA-78-1 Gundam Full Armor Type’s overwhelming firepower. With the aid of a comrade, he reached a Dolos-class carrier where he was reunited with his MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type, which was modified by a mechanic and nicknamed the MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type “Full Bullet Zaku”.
