Contemporary Fantasy

Contemporary Fantasy is a subgenre of Fantasy that takes place in the present day. In these stories, Magic or magical creatures might exist in the real world, but the general populace is unaware of their existence or misunderstands their true nature. Manga that take place in an urban setting are also considered to be Urban Fantasies.
