Summary
Beneath the Sunflowers
Three years after leaving home, Yunjae gets a call from his sister. “Father’s gone….” He feels no tears, no sorrow, because the man was never truly his father. Returning to his hometown under the heavy heat of summer, Yunjae finds his sister unchanged: fragile, beautiful, and heartbreakingly familiar. He knows what he feels must stay hidden, that some things are never meant to be spoken aloud. But the closer they grow, the harder it becomes to bury his forbidden longing, and the past they’ve both tried to forget begins to bloom again beneath the sunflowers.
