Switch ON Season 2

*Frankenstein movie vibes* – IT’S ALIVE!

Seeing Switch On having a second season after about 3 years is just as unbelievable as if the Hometown Hotties(was axed halfway because author got enlisted, had a good art) or some generic comics got a continuation(some really did, like the third season of The Descent of the Demonic Master, not like I cared much to read it further for some reason).
The question is, would they finally end that farce in a reasonable way, or it was better just to bury the story and start from the scratch with something newer.. and not ruin it again. Here we already have a four-year time skip in the middle, which makes the plot messy and the relationships between the characters even more strained, like it wasn’t enough already. I can understand when you have it at the very start, there are dozens of titles with returning students as premise and it rarely makes things too weird, some MCs had matured and go for milfs lol, which isn’t bad(An Introduction to MILFs/Cougar 101). It’s a good thing in post-finale extras, where the main characters and/or their friends/extras developed their relationship further. For example, in Positively Yours it gone as far as their kids having own budding romance. 

But now author added to the roster a new younger pervert, that yanderish girl became a teacher assistant and is dissatisfied AF with how MC had ghosted her, and nobody know for now what’s up with FMC, which priorly regretted how she dealt with MC. Having three girls on the title cover might insinuate harem(most likely just for clickbait), but then WTF was it so hard to go for it from the very start, without an irl+plot timeskip and unnecessary drama?
